Day 10:Rukmini Devi

Rukmini, the princess of Vidarbha, was known for her beauty, wisdom, and deep devotion to Krishna. Though her brother Rukmi wanted her to marry Shishupala, her heart belonged only to Krishna. With unshakable faith, she sent a secret letter to Krishna, pleading with Him to rescue her before the forced marriage.

Krishna received her message and immediately set out in His chariot. On the day of her svayamvara, as Rukmini came out of the temple after worshipping Goddess Parvati, Krishna appeared like a flash of lightning. With perfect grace, He lifted her onto His chariot and rode away.

The kings gathered at the svayamvara, including Shishupala and Jarasandha, were furious and chased after them. But Krishna defeated them all effortlessly and took Rukmini safely to Dwaraka. There, they were joyfully married.

Krishna accepted her not just because of her beauty, but because of her pure-hearted surrender and devotion. Rukmini became His eternal queen, forever cherished as Lakshmi Devi Herself.
