day 9:
Akrura, a noble-hearted devotee of Krishna, was sent by the wicked king Kamsa to bring Krishna and Balarama to Mathura. Though he carried out Kamsa’s orders, Akrura’s heart was full of devotion and longing for Krishna's darshan. As he journeyed to Vrindavan, his mind was filled with excitement and love, praying constantly to see the Lord.
When he finally saw Krishna and Balarama, he was overwhelmed with joy. Krishna welcomed him warmly, knowing the purity of his heart. On the way back to Mathura, Akrura stopped to bathe in the Yamuna. There, to his astonishment, he saw Krishna and Balarama in their divine forms as Lord Vishnu and Ananta Shesha within the waters.
Falling to the ground in tears, Akrura offered prayers with deep gratitude. Though he came with a painful task, Krishna rewarded his sincere devotion with a vision rarely seen by anyone. Akrura returned with peace in his heart, having received the mercy of the Lord he loved.
Let me hear you 😊
