Day7:
Devaki and Vasudeva were noble souls who longed to have the Supreme Lord as their child. In their previous lives, they had performed intense austerities and prayers to fulfill this sacred desire. As a result of their devotion, Krishna chose to be born as their son during a time of great darkness. Devaki’s brother Kamsa, fearing a prophecy, imprisoned them and killed six of their babies. But when Krishna was born, the prison was filled with divine light and peace. The chains broke, the guards slept, and Vasudeva carried baby Krishna across the Yamuna to safety. Later, Krishna returned, defeated the wicked Kamsa, and fulfilled the prophecy. Though they could not raise Him, Devaki and Vasudeva were blessed with His divine presence. Their unwavering faith and devotion were rewarded beyond imagination. The Lord became their child—not just by birth, but by pure love and surrender.
Let me hear you 😊
